Michel is the Lead Partner of Operational Transaction Services team in EY UK&I as well as Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) Markets Leader for UK&I. Michel has over 27 years’ experience of combined consulting, transaction and industry experience and has previously held executive positions in Accenture, Rabobank, Visa and Fujitsu. Michel’s key area of focus has been around operational diligence, carve-outs, post merger integration and operational restructuring for private equity and corporate clients. Michel has a MBA from University of Bradford (with distinction), an MA degree in Political Sciences from Radboud University of Nijmegen and he is also a senior visiting fellow of the Cass Business School.
John is a partner in EY’s Transaction Advisory Group. He has twenty years of experience including assisting financial and corporate investors with buy- and sell-side due-diligence services on public, private and public to private transactions across Europe, the United States and the United Kingdom including several cross-border deals.

Mark is EY’s Chief Economist in UK&I and the sponsoring partner for the EY ITEM Club. He has over 25 years’ experience as an advisor to Governments and industry on economics, policy and regulation. His key areas of focus are the macro-economic environment for business, global trade and exports, the rise of the emerging markets, economics and capital markets, inward investment, transactions, entrepreneurship and youth unemployment.
